Bell Canada Deal Collapses
The takeover of Bell Canada is expected to be halted late
Wednesday night, after an auditor for the company declared
that the Canadian telecom giant would be insolvent if the
deal went through.
But Bell Canada is expected to strike back with a lawsuit
seeking $1.2 billion in fees to abandon the deal, people
briefed on the matter told DealBook.
