"Judith, tell her the story about Helen Keller; rent the Miracle Worker and explain about the stigma of being different and what it meant for Helen and Anne to overcome that, explain the power of those achievements. Or, show her how to check out as many biographies about Helen Keller from the library as there are. Read her the story about Anne Frank, and what it meant to be both the hidden and the hider. How about the Underground Railroad, and the Freedom Fighters; or about the suffragettes?
